香饼源自唐朝时期,因为麦芽糖的重量使香饼部分下垂,炭烧后的香饼形状似马的蹄子,因此香饼也叫马蹄酥。有史以来,香饼都是用传统全手工的炭烧制造法,但由于炭烧法的产量差异过大,许多厂家选择使用机器;即便如此,老板汪永平仍然坚持以传统炭烧法制作香饼,以保留最原始的味道。
